2:31 pm - I'm Back

Well, I know it has been over a year, but since most of you have no idea what has been happening in my life because I haven't been posting or going out, here goes.
1. I moved from Cherry Street to 31st & Sheridan.
2. I gave the ferrets away.
3. My soon to be husband's name is Ric.
4. And, Oh Yeah, I had a baby.
His name is Vince and he is the cutest little boy in the world.

Anyway, Vince is now almost 12 weeks old. He was born on August 10th, 2005. Ric wanted his name to be Vince Neil Nourse, but I had to step in. Now he wants to name our next son Neil. What am I to do?

I just got home from my nephew, K.C.'s, fourth birthday party. I love him so much. My sister-in-law was so excited to show us all how he is starting to walk again. I am so happy for him. To think that anyone could hurt such a sweet little boy is beyond me. He has progressed and now functions at the level of a 9 month to one year old. I bought him a leap frog toy frog that sings and identifies colors and shapes, and as luck would have it (I had no idea ahead of time), the whole theme of the party was frogs. Yay for me, I think I might be psychic. He had so much fun and it was great to see my brother and sister again. My other nephew, Nathan, stuck to me like glue and he is such a doll. I realized how much I missed him. I took care of him by myself for 6 months when he was a baby and I came to see how much I really love seeing him. It was a great day. I almost cried when I saw how great K.C. is. Especially when he started walking. He is amazing.

I think I am going to go to Caz's tonight for a night of carefree fun. I need time out for a change. I think it will be nice. Got my nephew's b-day tomorrow. I can't wait! He is so cute and I love buying him presents. Not much else to say.

8:43 pm - Hmmm......
|
Okay, so I am bored and have nothing to do. It has been so nice these past few nights, just being able to come home and sleep in my own bed with my kitties. Fizzgig keeps waking me up by sticking her whiskers up my nose and Bagera will only sleep on the edge of the bed, so I keep accidentally knocking him off in my sleep. Silly kitties.
I am trying to get my step-cousin to come down for a few days from Blackwell to stay with me and go out, but I think he is too shy. Even if I have to drive up there and kidnap him, he's coming.
Work is same old, same old.
Went to Evanescence last night, had tons of fun. I went with one of the old officers from my bank that works at Bank of Commerce now. He's a nut, but a cool one. He wants to go repelling soon, I can't wait.
I hope to not be lazy soon and post pics of my kitties. They are so sweet. Anyway, that's all for now. Type to you later.

Work is poo. Glad to be home. Goin to see Shanna tonight, watch eighties movies, be girlie and dumb. Yay! Can't wait till the concert tomorrow, gonna leave right after work. Luckily I have to work Saturday, so I get Thursday morning off to recoop (aka sleep off the hangover). He he. Well, see everyone later.

I promise I will try to post more now that I will be home more. Anyway, I am going to see evanescence wednesday and I can't wait. I hope it is fun. He he, I really need to do laundry, I think if I don't soon, it will kill me in my sleep. I think me and Shanna are going to University Wash tomorrow so I can have more than three pairs of clean undies. Anyway, see you all soon, I'll be more sociable now, I am really gonna try.

7:10 pm - Boom! Bang! Pow! Rattatatatat!

Okay, so here's the story. Yesterday morning I am driving home to get veggie dogs for a day out at the creek with Mikey. I'm going west on 13th straight through the intersection at Utica when a woman runs the red light going south on Utica and I plow into her driver's side going about 40 mph. Long story short, my beautiful baby, Martin (my 01 black Blazer for those of you who didn't know his name) is totaled and I am in constant pain.
Good news, the lady admitted to the police that she ran a red and she is well insured. Bad news, I'm at the mercy of others for my back and forths to the doctor (I have to go almost every day for the next few weeks), work, home, grocery store, etc.
I'm glad my parents (who live 25 miles away) are soooooo cool and are willing to take me wherever I need to go. I have an attorney (whom I went to high school with) and he is gonna get me a down payment for another vehicle, doctor bills, etc (I hope). Other than that life is good, and I don't mean that sarcastically. I really think it will all be okay.

P.S. Until I feel a lot better, I am probably not going out very much.

Footloose and fancy free. Yup, gonna move in two more days. I have decided to take the girls over tomorrow, let them get used to the new apartment so that when I move everything over Saturday, it will be less stressful on them. Gonna hit Deadtown tonight for drinks, but because of the fetish ball and the move, I'm not gonna make it to Eclipse. :(
I had the cutest experience last night. I was dusting my furniture for the move and I was bending over when I felt someone grab my ass. It scared the buh-jesus out of me. I jumped up and turned around and realized what had happened. I had gotten too close to the ferret cage and Asia (who is my most playful girl) reached out between the bars and grabbed my butt. I laughed for a while. She's such a cheeky monkey.

Bored, tired, etc... Gonna pack more tonight. I got the books done last night. 15 boxes o' books. Even I am impressed. Zack called last night, wanted to see if I was interested in goin' out. I really wanted to, wanted to see him again, but was too tired and had too much to do. Oh well, he'll be at the fetish party on Friday and we'll probably hit Deadtown together tomorrow night, so all is good.
Found out today that Rhino is re-releasing the 1 2 and 3 box sets of Depeche Modes singles (pre order for $34.85 each) and releasing three more Depeche Mode singles box sets called, yep that's right, 4 5 and 6. I am going to be soooooo broke.
